If it doesn’t challenge you it won’t change you, this is something I read at the gym and it’s been sticking with me as I press into what I really want to accomplish this year. I can’t do things the same way as I did them before because it didn’t work.
Now the parts that did work I want to see them fresh so I need new ideas and processes. During on of the first workouts of the year which was really tough by the way we had a set of exercises to complete at our pace but with hopes to get it done in the allotted time. Well a few of us didn’t finish it but we were all encouraged by our instructor that if we wanted to stay to complete it we could. In my mind I was determined to be done and go home but a fellow workout partner asked if I wanted to finish and because I’m a team player and value community I obliged.
Had she not said anything I wouldn’t have thought about it but, because she did, I was open to the opportunity. As we were completing with a lap around the building I felt a sense of accomplishment and had a few thoughts. Here are three things I want you to consider as you make your way through 2024.
Action begins with mindset so determine today what you want to accomplish, how you are going to do it, and start moving towards your goals!
